On Mother’s Day, a family was having quite dinner in their house. The mother, usually chirpy was quite against her nature. The husband sensed something was amiss, could not contain himself and asked if there was something bothering her.  The wife said: “Don’t worry, there’s nothing.”

The husband was not satisfied so he insisted: “Today is your day and still you are upset. What’s the matter?”

Wife: “As if you don’t know. I have looked after these children for fourteen years and sacrificed a lot for them. And on this special day I don’t even get a ‘thank you’ from you.”

Husband: “My word, look who is talking. I have not only provided for children but you also for these fourteen years, so what?”

Wife: “Right. But I am their real mother.”
